Do you ever have those days, when all you do is reminisce? When you think back to before you straightened your hair, because it didn't matter? Back to when boys were only pests taking up space on earth? When 'heartbroken' meant that you cut up a valentine from a boy you could careless about? When texting, boyfriends, and looks didn't mean the world to everyone?

I do. All the time.

My friend Katie and I do this just about everyday. We remember inside jokes from 5th grade, when it didn't really matter if we were dating someone. All that mattered was that we had fun.

I miss the easiness of waking up in the morning knowing almost exactly how your day would go. Without worries of how your hair looks or what other people are saying about you.

I really do miss it.
